Currently, commands need to mostly be typed in full e.g consider gnoll. It'd be nice if they accepted up to 3-letter abbreviations and was case-insensitive e.g con Gno and con gno would work whether the mob's name is capitalized. This will probably be hard to implement but I think it'll be worth it.

Another thing I've noticed is how spellcasting doesn't check the validity of the target before letting you start to cast. It only checks it when you're done with the spell after letting you waste rounds and mana casting at a target that is potentially not there. Can this be fixed as well? I'm told that this also applies for stabs.

Consider already has shortened command support for it, 'con gnoll' works.

You might find 'help alias' and 'help nickname' useful.

For example, I made two-to-three-letter aliases for my mostly repeated commands, such use 'use spell impulse', on the left side of the keyboard, so I can quickly input combat momentums when they pop up etc.

For example:
alias xz use headbutt
would make xz the command to enter that would then execute 'use headbutt' command.

After which you could also use 'xz at gnoll' to execute 'use headbutt at gnoll'
