Backstab.. The name says it all, the skill is used to stab an unexpecting
victim deep into the back, damaging vital organs, and in short, to cause
death. The size of the backstabber affects greatly to the chances of
sneaking in darkness (the darker, the better), but what you gain in
sneaking, you lose in damage because the stabbing is harder, the optimal
stab comes from about 45 degrees upwards down the victims back. The
abilities of 'shadowdancing', 'move silently' and also mastering the
anatomy and knowing where the inner organs are naturally helps the assassin
to make a deadly stab. Using the shadowdancing skill before backstab
greatly improves the speed of the skill and chance of success.
