Wilders use veneration to construct altars and totems, and to worship at their altars. A well made altar will serve its purpose better. You can put your totems into a shrine and anyone who uses veneration at that shrine will help charge your totems. A large shrine charged much veneration is more efficient at charging totems. Shrines need a balance of valuable and spiritual objects to achieve peak potential. Shamans have a way of studying a shrine to measure its balance and make recommendations for future veneration.

You can also use veneration several ways:

use veneration at build shrine -- build a new shrine
use veneration at shrine -- worship at a shrine
use veneration at shrine with <xxx> -- add xxx to the shrine, <xxx> can be any 'object handling' syntax
use veneration at sense shrine -- feel your way to the nearest shrine
