The Icesus rulebook contains the official set of rules that must be followed to ensure mutually enjoyable gameplay (for both administration and players alike).

General Rules at Icesus

These rules exist to keep Icesus fair and enjoyable for everyone. Ignorance of a rule is not an excuse for breaking it.

Conduct

   o Playing multiple characters is illegal outside the
     secondary-character system. See 'help multiplaying' and
     'help secondary_characters'.
   o Abusing bugs, using triggers or robots, and harming Icesus
     in any way is illegal. See 'help robots' and 'help triggers'.
   o Doing or using Icesus for things which violate Finnish law is
     illegal.
   o It is illegal to harass other players continuously, by spamming
     or other means.
   o It is illegal to extort other players. If someone tries to
     extort you, contact an admin immediately.
   o Stealing monster kills is illegal. If your monster kill is
     stolen, contact an admin. Everything can be checked from
     the logs.
   o Selling characters, equipment or any in-game benefits for
     real-life money or goods is not allowed.
   o You are expected to use bug and typo commands when you
     encounter problems.
   o If you witness rule violations, please report them to an
     admin.

Administration

   o Admins have final authority on rule interpretation and
     enforcement.
   o Admins may remove or banish characters for rule violations.
     Repeated offences lead to increasingly severe consequences,
     up to permanent removal.
   o Admins are not responsible for your actions or the actions
     of other players.

Privacy

   o Your in-game activity may be monitored by admins to ensure
     game security, provide support, and enforce the rules.

Liability

   o Jää ry provides no guarantee of service quality, and you
     agree not to hold Jää ry responsible for any incidental
     damages caused by Icesus.
   o You must be at least 16 years old to play Icesus.
